WELL Health Announces Donation Matching Up to $50,000 with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association to Support Civil Rights and Equality in Canada

Vancouver, BC, August 10, 2020 – In light of recent events in the United States and around the world, WELL Health Technologies Corp. (TSX.V: WELL) (the “Company” or “WELL”), a company focused on consolidating and modernizing digital assets within the primary healthcare sector, is pleased to announce it has made a commitment to support civil rights and equality for all people in Canada.  To that extent, WELL has partnered with the Canadian Civil Liberties Association (CCLA) to match up to $50,000 in donations.  All donations will support CCLA initiatives against rights violations, racial inequalities and discrimination in Canada.

CCLA works to effect systemic change in two main ways: by challenging unjust laws in court, and by educating children and adults on their Charter rights. Over the past fifty years, CCLA has been involved in the most well-known rights issues in Canada, fighting for LGBTQ+ rights, religious freedom, protest rights, due process, equality, privacy, and more.  In 2020 alone, CCLA has been victorious against racial profiling and carding, solitary confinement, mass surveillance, and unwarranted searches of dwellings.  In a world where so many face injustices, it is important for WELL to stand with those who need help and support the fight for equality for all people in Canada.

If you would like to get involved or to learn more about CCLA, please visit their website at ccla.org.  You can also support the fight for justice and equality by making a donation at ccla.org/give; please give as generously as you can.  Your donation will automatically be matched by WELL.
